After Su Tang finished looking around, she felt quite satisfied. She couldn’t help but reminisce about how, in her previous life, she had always dreamed of owning such a home. Now it seemed that dream had come true.
She felt that the semi-modern Chinese-style furniture was a bit incongruous considering she was living in the ancient era now, but it helped to integrate the modern aesthetic. And, while the kitchen was still relatively small, it was more than enough considering she only needed to cook for herself and the orange cat here inside her space.
But the most important new addition was definitely the bathtub. With this new addition, at the end of a busy day she would finally be able to add a couple of dabs of essential oil and enjoy a good bath to wind down the way she used to do in the past. Just thinking about it made her feel comfortable in her heart.
The orange cat climbed up on the cat bed that was mounted near the babu bed in the main bedroom. Judging by his expression he was also very satisfied with their new home.
“Si’er, can you still upgrade this cabin even further in the future?” Su Tang suddenly asked. Although she was quite satisfied with how the cabin currently was, she also suddenly remembered how the orange cat mentioned that this space was fully upgradeable. Did that mean that this cabin could be even better in the future?
“Of course I can. The cabin can be upgraded again once you reach level 50, please keep working hard and do your best to upgrade!” The orange cat replied, confirming Su Tang’s speculations.
“Well, anyway, it’s already fine for now. I’ll just enjoy it like this first.” Su Tang lay down on the bed and dreamed of the beautiful future for a while.
The cabin was quite a bit different now. If a person only took a single glance, they might feel that the cabin was now just like a modern house, but if they were to take a closer look it would be revealed that it was not so. Although there seemed to be many modern things in the cabin now, including faucets, toilets, and a bathtub, in reality, it was still a little off from an actual modern house. For instance, there seemed to be no electricity, with the lamps and overhead lights all lighting up seemingly on their own.
Su Tang didn’t bother about this much though. At any rate, the space was quite magical from the beginning, so it was normal for the things inside to also be magical. Su Tang hadn’t studied much in her last life and definitely couldn’t be considered any sort of scientist, so she didn’t bother trying to understand.
Unfortunately, even though the cabin had now been upgraded, Su Tang still wasn’t able to immediately enjoy it. For the next twenty days, she continued staying up late into the night in order to prepare all the seeds for the Luo family, so no matter how nice the new bed was she was hardly able to appreciate it.
Meanwhile, over the same time period, Su Yongqiang and Su Yongshun managed to inform all the families that needed to be informed about the matters regarding the seedlings and were finally ready to start bringing people over to sign the contracts.
Thus, right at the beginning of February, Su Yongqiang and Su Yongshun brought two men into Qinghe Town. These two were the first ones chosen to sign their contracts. As they were all walking, Su Yongqiang warned: “Today you will sign an important contract. When we arrive, don’t gawk around and don’t talk any nonsense. If you do something wrong and annoy Young Master Luo then you will immediately lose this great opportunity, understood?”
The younger man had a simple and honest face, and hearing Su Yongqiang’s warning again he just nodded along before laughingly saying: “Uncle Qiang, you’ve already warned us so many times. Don’t worry, we certainly won’t talk any nonsense.”
The elder man, who looked to be middle-aged, also nodded before asking in a curious tone, “Brother Qiang, Brother Shun, was this business really found by that little Tang girl? She’s so capable, ah!”
“En, that Tang girl is really capable.” The younger man piped up. In fact, both of these people had already been told that Su Tang was the one who had found this opportunity and had been very surprised. After all, they were all from the same village, so they had seen how pitiful Su Tang and her brother had been just a few short months ago. Now that things were like this, they naturally felt that Su Tang was very capable.
“That’s right, Tang’er is very capable. But don’t mention anything like that in front of Young Master Luo later on in case he feels like he’s losing face.” Su Yongshun warned again.
“Could we not understand such a simple thing? We were just talking among ourselves.” The two responded.
Both of them were smart people, so they understood the logic of not overly complimenting their own younger generation in front of another family’s younger generation and maybe offending the other party.
“Anyway, I’ll remind you again, take care to watch your mouths. You both need to be low-key and cautious while handling this matter and nothing is allowed to leak out, not even to your own families. Only when the Luo family decides in the future that it doesn’t need to be a secret anymore will you be allowed to talk about it.” Su Yongqiang continued to warn.
The two men also knew that this matter was very important, so they quickly shut up didn’t dare to speak any further. Seeing that, Su Yongqiang nodded and then led them all over to the same old rented courtyard from before and knocked on the door.
Jiang Hong and Madam Zhang heard the knock at the door, so they hurriedly came out to welcome the guests. Su Yongqiang saw that the person who pulled open the door was Madam Zhang, someone he didn’t know, so he said carefully: “We’re here looking for Young Master Luo.”
